John Whitworth

John (poet, teacher, editor, competition judge, broadcaster, prize-winner) has had eight books of poetry published with a ninth pending, and has written an inspired book, "Writing Poetry", published by A&C Black. John has won prizes for his poetry and short stories (Peterloo, Middlesex University and Poetry on the Lake in Italy). His awards include the Cholmondeley Award and the Alice Hunt Bartlett award of the Poetry Society. He has judged many poetry competitions including the National Poetry Competition.
